Weight loss

Helping you to lose weight and keep it off for good
We understand that obesity is a chronic medical condition that affects not just your physical health, but your mental health as well. It is not a lifestyle choice, but a disease that needs proper medical attention and treatment.
We emphasise a personalised and hormone-aware approach to weight loss rather than quick fixes or one-size-fits-all plans. Our consultations look beyond calories to understand each person’s unique biology — especially how hormones (like those affected in PCOS) influence weight and metabolism. We focus on slow, sustainable progress, tracking meaningful health markers and tailoring plans that fit individual life contexts and goals.
How does it work?
Step 1
Pre-consultation pack is sent to you indicating what information you will require to have on you to accurately answer all questions at your first consultation. You will also be sent a video from Dr Mathir explaining a little bit more about medical weight loss, the pathophysiology of obesity and our approach
Step 2
On Consultation day you will have 40-45 minutes with one of our highly trained and knowledgeable doctors to chat about your medical history in depth and assess whoch course of treatment would be best. After this consultation you will have an InBody assessment done to ascertain your metabolic risk factors - your skeletal muscle mass and visceral fat index is what interests us most!
Step 3
Blood tests will be ordered after the initial consultation to ensure suitability and safety for chosen drug regimen as well as to identify micronutrient deficiencies commonly associated with obesity. A supplementation protocol will be developed at this point and shared with the patient via a follow up consultation.
Step 4
A post-consultation information pack will be sent to you containing guidance on protein intake, a 1 month beginners workout plan focusing on strength training, your dosage regimen and a follow up consultation date will be set orior to you leaving the practice to ensure accountability and oversight.
